O’Brien & Feiler Responds to the Coronavirus Situation
March 12, 2020 – O’Brien & Feiler (OBF) is committed to keeping our clients and employees updated about the rapidly developing situation with COVID-19. Throughout this process, our responses have been guided by the Georgia Department of Public Health, Center for Disease Control and Prevention, and Federal and State leadership. As a result, the OBF leadership team is making arrangements to ensure that the work and mission of the firm continues, while acknowledging that there may be business interruptions during the next few weeks.
To OBF Clients and Stakeholders:
-Until the threat passes, OBF will no longer be available for in-person client visits. The OBF office will be on lock down, but the team will be available through traditional channels including email and phone, and will make arrangements to conduct face-to-face meetings through Apple Facetime, Google Duo, or related technology should the need arise. Medical records will be able to be safely left by clients on premises either through a lock box or by passing under the locked door.
-Because employees may be working from home, you may receive calls from numbers you do not recognize or blocked numbers. Please feel free to verify the identities of any OBF callers using email or challenge questions.
–Remote work may also cause more calls to be sent to voicemail. Rest assured, all voicemails and emails are to be checked regularly and responded to in a timely manner. Though you may be used to immediately being able to reach a live person, there may be a small delay during this viral threat
–Rest assured that our dedicated work on behalf of the people and firms that we represent will continue. More information will be forthcoming to our stakeholders. Please follow the OBFlegal website and social media channels for ongoing updates, or call 770-579-0799 for additional information.
